‘Tis the Season

I’ve been terrible I know, leaving you all in suspense. My hope though is that our loyal bloggers will get a big, giant Christmas (or Hanukkah or Kwanzaa or…) present, in the form of some truly brilliant before and afters.

I’ve been inundated with suspicions of certain rooms being near completion and you are all correct. Yes, some things are almost completely done. However, they are not perfect and I don’t want to post a picture of something that is lackluster. I would prefer to wait until it is completely polished, with no scratch left unsanded, no spot left unpainted, no detail not thought of.

Ken is truly killing himself over there and I’m dying because I have been preoccupied. My bestest cousin in the world surprised me for Thanksgiving so we made a trip to the desert. Then my bestest friend from college got married so I took a couple days off to help her with that. Now I’m back and…more tired than ever I can’t even seem to get that shower curtain ordered. Poor Ken is having to bathe in what looks like a third world operating room, with sheets of plastic lining the walls so nothing gets contaminated.

I promise to keep you more informed in the coming weeks as we get nearer to move in. When will that be you ask? Well, I wish I could tell you but it’s still a little unclear. Let’s just say it will be before January 30th, when we get to see all your beautiful faces and have a drink to toast our most beautiful home
