The amount of work that Ken is able to accomplish within a period of a couple hours is nothing less than astonishing. I leave for work Tuesday and he has the front of the man shack torn off, re-framed and stucco’d before I can even make it through the first red light on my commute home. Saturday he has the irrigation system for the backyard complete before Robert and I make it home from collecting all of our Craig’s list purchases. He and I spend half the day today choosing plants and flowers and he’s got them in the ground before I can even get two loads of laundry done and the house cleaned. I think my New Year’s resolution needs to be, “Be more like Ken.”
Anyway, lucky for Robert and I he is the way he is because he is creating for us one hell of a place to call home.
We're not saying that mauve is a bad color. It's great, if used in the right application. The right application does not, however, happen to be a one piece toilet and a giant whirlpool tub. Mauve has no place in a thousand square foot bungalow built in 1944, no place at all. So we're fixing that...
