We didn’t really have a major objective this weekend, just a lot of smaller things to accomplish. On Friday the electricians started and almost completed the kitchen, I did some sanding on the living room ceiling and we finished up the plumbing in the master bath. On Saturday we transfered all of the tools from the spider shack to the now completed garage and started on the hallway linen closet. My friend, Alexis, was willing to dedicate her Saturday to helping us in return for some invaluable education on plumbing by yours truly. Just kidding, Ken was the instructor. Becky came down to visit and helped out by making the spider shack a bit more livable. Robert took a break from his hundred hour work week to help tear down a doorway and Ken finished up the weekend by starting on the front yard.

It’s taking shape!
Loving the master bath tilework idea for the flooring. 4×4′s framing the hex’s. Great plan. Also, love the walkway to the front door. Definitely needed. Dutch door is cool, but a Kotz escape route for sure. Manchester is a busy street, so something to think about. The clothes line is hilarious!
I’m kind of obsessed with the french doors in your bedroom!!
My goodness the progress is going so fast!! Lookin’ good kids, lookin’ good! Love the front lawn design…
This is a great experience to watch. This blog is really good. On the bathroom: what kind of tile are we looking at? Subway white? Limestone? Something else? Please describe the design plan. thanks. Love it!
