I was recently given the amazing opportunity to visit Kohler, Wisconsin on a business trip to tour the Kohler Plumbing factories and learn more about the company and their products. I really didn’t know what to expect beforehand and, to be honest with you, I was almost more excited just to be in my home state than anything else. I completely underestimated what the trip would be.
From the moment I and the other designers arrived we were given first class treatment. We were lucky enough to stay at the exclusive Riverbend Resort and Club and had access to every facility in town. Not only did we get to tour the incredibly impressive factories but we got the chance to indulge at the Waters Spa and spend an evening at the Kohler Design Center, so inspiring.
More impressive than all of the facilities and amenities, however, were the people who work for the company. Every single person we met was overwhelmingly passionate about what they do and the product and service they provide. Seeing first hand the attention to detail and quality assurance made me even more enthusiastic about specifying Kohler. I thought I knew Kohler before but now I am even more excited about it. My local rep was even gracious enough to offer me a super incredible deal on some pieces for the house. Check them out below along with some of the designer rooms I took pictures of at the Design Center.
If you’ve thought about using Kohler, use it. If you haven’t, consider it. They even have a number of products that are green, low flow faucets, water saving showerheads and dual flush toilets (which I REALLY wish I could have used for the house, just couldn’t pull off the plumbing) just to name a few.
the showroom is incredible! i want it all.
totally want that glam kitchen! Love the olive cabinets!
Great blog you got on water conservation.
