The tile guys were back today and started tiling the master bath. They are just as quick as Ken which is why he wanted them to come all the way from the desert I guess. As my friend Jessica so eloquently stated, “he’s half man, half machine.” Also installed today, Robert’s new bedroom windows and the washer and dryer.

Working the tile saw outside the master bedroom window.

Subway tile half done inside the shower enclosure.

Look how straight those grout lines are! They didn’t even have to use spacers!

Ask me how scared I was when I saw this linoleum.

It got covered up though so I won’t have a heart attack after all.
I’m bringing my laundry to Meebhouse! What a happy place for cleaning clothes.
bitch your washer and dryer are so much cooler than mine. poop. I’m jealous.
That was no exaggeration! He needs to audition for survivor. He would put Richard Hatch to shame.
Nice work with your headlines
Not only are you great with design, you’re not half-bad as a blogger!
Now I can’t figure out how I commented on just one picture. Are you sure I did that? Those linoleum tiles are from Home Depot huh. We had them in our bathrooms in our condo. They are not that bad. They are the best of the bunch. What is that niche anyway?
I remember when you stated you had a dream: To have your own washer and dryer before you turn 30… Congratulations, job well done.
Oh your clothes are going to LOVE you!
how scared were you when you see the frickin linoleum?☺
i’m loving the subway tile…good pick Miss Designer!
haha, Salve. the linoleum scared you, too, huh?
I totally love subway tile, so far all of your choices are amazing….good luck!
can you believe that contractor? he barely gets the washer and dryer installed, and then he throws his sheets in for a wash. he probably had a pot roast in his crockpot, too!
what do you expect from a man who lives in a spider shack..:)
The other night on TV, this Architect named Susanka, put a store bought piece of kitchen counter top just over the top of the washer and dryer. Then, she took the back splash that came with it and put it in the back a little higher aganst the wall flat as another small shelf, which hid the water and drain conections. There was a small painted board like a stair riser between them. It looked great and very functional as there were no cracks for clothes to fall through. Hers was in a small closet so the counter tops went from wall to wall.
