Aren’t you excited. It’s gonna look great. What is Becky thinking of putting it on the market for?! I like to see a designer who can get involved & get dirty. What’s up with those two jokers in picture 8, shouldn’t they be working somewhere? Is that a Corona Robert? Nice art work above the fireplace.
Mary,
1. Lay out the grid you prefer.
2. Draw lines as a guide.
3. Nail 2 x 8′s flat against your lines.
4. Nail 1 x 4′s vertically to each edge of the 2 x 8′s.
5. Nail 1 x 8′s to the inside of the 1 x 4′s just shy of the bottom, creating a bit of a lip.
6. Fill in the joints with caulk.
7. Paint.
about us We're not saying that mauve is a bad color. It's great, if used in the right application. The right application does not, however, happen to be a one piece toilet and a giant whirlpool tub. Mauve has no place in a thousand square foot bungalow built in 1944, no place at all. So we're fixing that...
Oh man, I wish I could be there. I have my own tool belt!

can’t wait for that ceiling! and you were right to close up the hallway door.
How do you make that ceiling? Looks like boxes up there.

The coffers are amazing. I love the mantle too.
